Since early 1972 - which means we are about to celibrate our 30th birthday and enter our
31st
year - Arius Tile has been creating a renaissance in American Art Tile. Drawing from our
own
creative resources and on the objects and images from current and historic world cultures,
Arius had been telling stories in Design on Tile - from our santa Fe Studio to around the
world.

In 1991, Leib and Robbie Goodman (founders and still current owners and operators of Arius
Tile) decided to develop Judaic designs. This year, we decided to finally set up a separate
web site and catalog for our Judaic Designs and make it a primary focus of our work -
www.jewishtile.com. The site will soon feature not only stock designs, but also examples of
large mural works we have created for Synagogues, Mikvas, Day Schools and Homes for
the
Aging. We will also be bringing out new tile series designed by prominent Jewish artists and
adapted to our unique technique.

Other than our machine produced bisque tile base, all our work is done by hand - from the
original drawing, to the transfer of patterns, to the painting, glazing and 1800 degree kiln
firings.
