6x8 Hamsa (Light)

A traditional amulet among North African
and Middle Eastern Jews against the Evil
Eye - adapted from a tin piece found in
Sefad, Israel.
In the middle is "Chai"- Life. The fish on either side represent both Purity (they did not need to
be destroyed by the Flood - there was no evil in them) and the Ever Vigilant - the eye that never
closes, never sleeps.
