"Mizrach" - literally East.
A "Mizrach" is traditionally placed on a wall of the home to indicate the direction of Jerusalem
and
thus the direction of Prayer. When praying at the Western Wall of the Temple (which still
stands)
this direction is East - Mizrach. However, from other places in the world "Mizrach" could be
west,
or south or north.

In the middle of the tile is "Shevi'i HaShem L'Negdi Tamid" - I will put God before me always.
