Tile Personalization

Any of our tiles can be personalized in both Hebrew and English. This type is not painted on but
fired into the glaze to last forever. After the glaze firing (at about 1800 degrees), we allow the
tile to cool and than apply an Over-Glaze with the type copy. The tile is then fired again at a
lower temperature (around 1350 degrees). The base glaze softens but does not flow at this
temperature. The over-glaze then fuses to the base glaze and becomes one with the glazed
tile. The type can be over-glazed in Black, Blue or Brown.

We charge $35.00 for most personalization - not much for the work that goes into the process.

copy and instructions.
